2016 election fraud action possibilities

I'm posting this message as a discussion topic ( it was originally sent as a reply to GaryBeck's discussion topic earlier this evening) I am hoping to draw wider attention in the DU community to the possibity of collecting data to establish a baseline picture of election manipulation at the precinct level.
So apologies for the repeating the message, but please give it some serious consideration! Peace Hannah

Welcome (and welcome back) to all on DU interested in studying and taking action against election manipulation. I too have been here since 2004, worked at the state level to get paper trails for electronic machines, and am totally convinced that the very surprising 2016 election results reflect targeted tampering at the precinct level.

Beth Clarkson, statistician in Witchita KS has done some excellent work with the so called "cumulative vote share analysis" and elections in kansas.

I will locate the links to earlier studies from Francois Choquette and others who have studied highly unusual vote patterns and post them tomorrow.

It may be possible to gather the precinct data from a few select areas where Trump significantly outperformed projections and the exit polls. If this data can be assembled quickly, it may be possible to quietly request a justice dept inquiry.

Edward Felton who studied these processes at Princeton I believe now has a role in cyber security with the Obama administration. So, remember the old DU when we went out and gathered data to support our theories? Maybe it's time to get active in this way again! We can probably find the precincts in Wisconsin, Michigan and PA where the opportunity to "pad" results existed. And a look at the 90k voters in Detroit that didn't vote for President?

If we mobilize quickly, we just might be able to aggregate the needed data to launch an official inquiry. Still remember my first readings of the many simple ways the machine codes can be tampered with...I think a segment of the voting public and hopefully our heroes in the press ( eichenwald, farenthold, corn, etc. would study the data and start to understand how this election ( and future elections) can be compromised.
And hopefully the progressive press will reach out to long established Election Scholars like Jonathon Simon to learn and publicize what might have happened to produce the stunning ( and illegitimate) 2016 election results.
Of course they took DU down on election night - we "political junkies" would have noticed immediately what was happening!
So - DU - I say let's give it a try! As
Trump famously said, what have we got to lose? Peace, Hannah

Whether this gets us where we want to go or not...

Task me out.

I've already called Lindsay Graham and my Senator and congressman to support calls for an investigation into Russian hacking of the election

If so would Obama be allowed to remain in office while we have another election?

In this crazy election year nothing will surprise me. There are times when I feel I have somehow managed to step into a parallel universe. The first time I thought that was during the election between Bush the Younger and Al Gore.

Remember the hanging and pregnant chads?

And there are Dem officials in charge of my county's polling data.

In this 2016 final election, I worked for Election Protection, at Ward 30, District 1 and 4, a few miles away from my home District. I stayed after the polls finished up and posted their final results tapes outside the polling place, around 8:15 pm. They recorded 60% turn out. Then I went to my voting precinct to see my poll's results. Ward 19, District 28's personnel were still busy inside the polling place, there wasn't a crowd of voters inside, as I could see through the slit windows. I didn't have a county poll watcher's certificate, so couldn't go inside the locked polling location. I waited outside for a half hour, then gave up and went home. They weren't done to post the tape before 8:48 pm. I wound up going to see the posted results at 5:30 am the next day, then looking them up on the county website.

My precinct recorded an 81% turn out, 10 to 20 % higher than the 2016 totals for Ward 19, 4 and 19, 3 polls I worked (majority inspector for 19, 4) in the past, the 19, 1 poll that I voted in for 2 decades, and the 30, 1 and 4 districts I just got done 'protecting'. And 31% of the votes in this Dem stronghold poll were for dRUmpf, while only 14 and 19 % backed him in the 2 Ward 30 districts I worked at.

So, I don't allege any felony election fraud was committed by the poll workers in 19, 28. But it would be easy enough to verify, by looking at audited machine results, the district register, the signed voter cards. But I don't have authority, credentials, or support to do so.

During this election, I interacted pre-election and during the election with the Ward 30 Dem Chair, with the 30, 1 Dem Committeman, with the former Ward 19 chair I served under (2 of whose relatives served in statewide offices), with the 5 election protection lawyers and observers, with 3 of my Dem party-backing union officials, with the 2 official poll watchers from the Democratic Party. Every statement I made can be easily verified, all those local Dem honchos know who and what I am and what I did. I'm willing to swear an oath and sign a deposition about all the particulars I related above.

I have a good data point in my actual vote, in 19, 28 also. I voted right around 12:30 in the afternoon between Election Protection shifts. I have my voting stub (with 9 digit I.D. number), voter sign in number, voted on machine 1 (out of 3, verified with poll officials), and I wrote in a name instead of voting for my (unopposed) Dem state rep. (I always go with "Gi Gi Sullivan" when the Dems are promoting someone I think is a klinker, inside joke.) All other votes were for Dem candidates, and I voted against the initiative that would raise the state Judge retirement age. Nobody else wrote in a vote for Gi Gi, undoubtedly, but I accidentally put in a double space between the two "Gi" s, and didn't go back and correct it.
