(26,289 posts)I am pretty much just in low and moderate risk/yield investments but I told them I was very concerned about what would happen if Trump won and wondered if I should move everything into the lowest risk area, possible. They told me that my concern was legitimate, but from what they are seeing and hearing, the market is definitely leaning towards a Clinton victory.
Still, I'll be stressing until it is official.

(11,923 posts)We go to FL to be with my ultra conservative in-laws for the holidays and rather than deal with the stress of being with them 24 hrs/7 days a week for 2 wks, we rent a small house in their neighborhood from a British couple. I am so not looking forward to this visit, especially after the election, but Dad is 84 yo and has Alzheimer's. We need to go while we can. I told hubby since we weren't sure what the election would do to the exchange rates, we should pay it off now rather than wait until the 1st of December.
Maybe that was being too cautious, but I'm just glad it's a done deal! And hopefully we'll be the side of the family using our self-control to stem any outward signs of gloating
