https://mobile.twitter.com/ralstonreports/status/794737005091401728They just extended voting hours at a Mexican supermarket to 10 PM. Close to 1,000 voters in line. If you have a panic button GOP, find it.
Mexican-Americans are building a wall to keep Donald Trump out. And he's going to pay for it.

And Democrats won the early voting in Washoe, where Republicans hold a registration edge.
Dem - 6,058
GOP - 5,820
TOTAL - 16,373

(22,671 posts)Nevada, Nevada, Nevada.
You are right. Gore and Hillary can win by carrying Nevada.

Think about it.

(10,721 posts)But even without those, Clinton can top 270 with Colorado and Nevada (assuming she takes PA, MI, WI and the rest of the states she's expected to win).
Of course, I'll be hoping like hell that she takes FL, NC, OH and so on.

(14,565 posts)Not only early voting but they sell "It's It" ice cream treats at Albertsons. Awesome. Two cookie wafers wrapping ice cream and dipped in chocolate. I can't get them here in Miami, or anywhere close.

A crowd of 50 people waiting outside Cardenas Market. Cheering up the last people coming out from voting. Latino vote woke up #earlyvote

(12 posts)Who knew that insulting an entire race of people would destroy a political party. The republican denial of reality gets more and more strange as years go by. In the minds of Trump and his ilk its always 1950 and nothing has changed. A straight denial of reality and a retreat into fantasy.

(14,565 posts)Nobody mentioned Jon Ralston's obscure tweet tonight regarding the 2018 governor's race. He said presumptive Democratic nominee Steve Sisolak raised $220 thousand in two weeks and now has $2 million on hand. That's vital in a midterm when the Nevada electorate is not as favorable.
Also, Ralston retweeted Catherine Cortez-Masto saying she was headed to the Cardenas Market, after it received publicity late tonight for so many people staying in line. I wouldn't be surprised at a campaign photo.

(23,967 posts)we vote by mail here in Oregon. it's a pretty slick system, i've been liking it for a long time now, but sometimes i miss going to the polling place and participating in shared decisions with fellow citizens.
from those photos, the voters are incredibly enthusiastic, having a great time being there, getting to hang with old friends and make new ones. it's a huge party and everyone's invited. tuesday is going to be amazing.
hey Nate, i think we found the "likely voter" model to use for this election.
we might just be using it for a couple more elections too.
