I have a question about donations requests from the DCCC.

I have a new one in my email today which states, in part:

"If Boehner and the Republicans need a reminder of what happened on election night, we’re more than happy to give it to them. Help us raise $100,000 before midnight tomorrow so we can pressure Republicans who refuse to budge and call them out in their home districts."

How does the Democratic party use these donations to pressure Republicans? Just curious.

I don't donate to them anymore because to tell the truth, close up, I haven't seen them support any Democratic candidates that I know of that really needed the help against a Republican incumbent that needs unseating.

That said, you can probably take off the next six months before responding.

my donation. I want my money to go to the candidates of my choice so I prefer to donate directly to those candidates. I don't need anyone picking whom my money will go to.

do donations really help apply pressure to pass legislation?

So much for that. It seems all of them are asking for donations. They didn't skip a beat.

Sorry, my family will be my next donation...and the one after that....and the one after that.
