If the 2016 presidential election was held today, 45% of likely New Hampshire voters say they would vote for Hillary Clinton,
38% would vote for Donald Trump, 6% would vote for Gary Johnson, 1% would vote for Jill Stein, 3% say they would vote for
another candidate, and 7% are undecided. When undecided voters are asked which way they are leaning, the results become
46% for Clinton, 39% for Trump, 6% for Johnson, 1% for Stein, 3% for someone else, and 5% undecided. This race has
tightened since earlier this month.
Clinton is doing better among Democrats (89%‐4%) than Trump is among Republicans (78%‐9%), but Trump has a slight edge
among Independents (34%‐28%). There are significant gender and education gaps Trump has a 45%‐36% lead among men
while Clinton leads by double digits (56%‐33%) among women. Trump leads among those with a high school degree or less
(57%‐26%) and those with some college education or technical school (53%‐32%) while Clinton has double digit leads among
college graduates (53%‐31%) and those who have completed postgraduate work (62%‐25%)
