Nueces County (Corpus Christi, TX): 42,000 cast ballots in first week of early voting
The first week of early voting in Nueces County brought out over 42,000 voters.
According to numbers posted online by the Nueces County Clerk's office, there are over 199,000 registered voters in Nueces County.
During the first week of early voting in the 2012 presidential election, just over 34,000 early votes were cast.
