Last weekend seemed more optimistic.

This week is wasn't as productive. Maybe it was just the neighborhood. Or maybe people are getting weary of this election cycle.

Iowa is a swing state that seems to have swung a bit pink. Hopefully everyone is out in full force doing what they can to GOTV. I'm hoping that first time votes (college students, millenials) are taking this seriously. We need their votes!

Today wasn't as successful as previous days for canvasing, but it was great to see people coming together to make this happen.

Pouring their blood, sweat, tears, time and money into turning out the democratic vote. I cannot tell you their personal reasons for doing so, but literally, packing up the car, driving hundreds and hundreds of miles to canvas neighborhoods of people they don't even know, all in an effort to get one or two more unlikely voters to dedicate themselves to vote this year.

It is a very heart warming to experience.

We had one volunteer from out of state that exhausted their funds for the evening and one of the local volunteers came forward, giving him a place to stay tonight so he wouldn't sleep the night in his car. The passion for Hillary Clinton here is overwhelming.

This is they kind of people she attracts.
