(5,756 posts)in the war on women I'm just really up in the air on this post. Call me overly sensitive. But given what we know about the treatment of POWs at the Hanoi Hilton and what poor health McCain was in I'm just a little hesitant to reference POW and him. Again, I'm probably being over the top sensitive. I just don't want DU to become FR.

(5,756 posts)Isn't it nice we here on DU can, for the most part, talk reasonably with one another?

(1,060 posts)but there is something disingenuous about Senator McCain-----I have never heard of POW speaking the way he does----the voice is usually a humble, contrite and caring one---not the invesctive that he has shown when speaking about Susan Rice--------the behavior appears to be one that is not in complete control of himself-------he raises a lot of doubt in himself------and maybe I better become a little more humble----and try to unite rather than divide----good day my friend Mr. Ballance

(1,060 posts)John McCain has failed to support at least two bills that would address fair and equal pay for women and minorities. He has made the statement that for women to get ahead, all they need is more education and training (women already far surpass men in both areas yet are still discriminated against in the work place and business world).
