Voting in person on election day?

Take at least one other person with you. A neighbor, a friend, a family member. If you can't find anyone, call your local Democratic Party office and volunteer to drive someone in your precinct to the polls.

Help others to vote and we're sure to win.

Used an absentee ballot so no need to worry about poll "watchers" giving me a hard time. I sat at my kitchen table, filled in the ballot, double checked it and mailed it on my way out of town early in October. I even tracked it online and found out it made it back to the Supervisor of Elections office. I will be glad when that is the usual way to vote. So easy....and no harassment at the polls!!

No need to "trust" that they will be going to the polls. Have fun and bring them.

I most often go just after the polls open on election day. I believe I know enough about the process and am just headstrong enough to deal with an issue if I see one. For those of us who are more aware, it is important to see the process working properly and be willing to speak up if we see problems.

On a side note: Someone I work with went to early vote in Florida yesterday. Trump supporter. They walked away after seeing the long line. People are voting. He will be going back on election day hoping the additional polling locations will alleviate some of the lines.

I told my roommate that I would make breakfast if she came with me to vote before work instead of doing it after work. We walked the three blocks together to vote. Then we had breakfast and went off to work. It was nice to have it done so we could just come home and watch the results as they came in.

I'm doing GOTV and making sure as many people as possible get off their sofas and to the polls. If they can't get there, I'll see to it that they have a ride.
