2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumShort discussion with two relatives who support Trump
Saw two elderly relatives today who I know support Trump.
They asked me if I thought the country would be better off if Trump got elected.
I said "No" because I can't trust a man who hallucinates.
They looked at me.
I followed up by saying Trump said he saw thousands of Muslims celebrating in Jersey City on 9/11 but it never happened. I said he must have hallucinated it and that I couldn't trust a man who can't tell the difference between reality and his hallucinations.
Don't know if it did any good but they didn't have much to say in response.

I know she's a flaming RWNJ but she's great with my hair. We're friends of FB so she knows where I stand and we essentially never talk politics. But today she couldn't help herself and started talking about "the ridiculous amount of power the government has" and "all the crimes the Clintons have gotten away with." I asked her about her grandchildren. Came home and planted my new yard sign out front. Put a pic of it on FB.
My next hair appointment is in 6 weeks. Yay.

(8,311 posts)36, natural redhead. I see a few white hairs mixed in, but mostly my natural color, though it's not as "copper penny" as it used to be.
As long as it doesn't go streaky with grey/white, I'm going to wait. At least I don't spend much at the hairdresser.

(14,537 posts)for that very reason. I made an apt at another hair salon and found out others can cut and color my hair better and cheaper than she was. I am saving money and no RWNJ.
