NYT - Price of gas matters, but often doens't sway voters

I guess it would do no good to tell tea baggers that gas prices are affected by world markets, and those f-ing speculators, increased demand from China & India, it's not President Obama's fault....

because a lot of the tea baggers are like their founder(Palin), the TRUTH can "smack" them in the face and they STILL won't GET IT...
