I'd like to personally thank the psychologists team Clinton hired.

These people deserve a Nobel. The deconstructed the Donald, figured out every weakness and insecurity, and exactly how to best exploit each one. Over and over again, he kept stepping in it, and it's because team Clinton laid the traps. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Kudos!

by Donald is, it becomes easy to see all his weaknesses. He has no one to blame but himself. The whole world now knows all his weak points.

which translated (although it loses a little) goes: The Devil knows more because he's old than because he's the Devil. Age and experience about how a real campaign should be run (including OPPO research) will win 10 times out of 10. And Drumpf got to experience the validity of that saying last night!

You'd have thought some of the better funded career politicians could have more thoroughly exploited his many weaknesses.

On the other hand they couldn't go after tRump on the things which they stood for as well, it would have alienated them to the repub base. They really had to walk a tightrope and none of them could do it.

it was more that he appealed very deeply to the Republican id-- he figured that one thing out... and his GOP opponents had no way to counter it. And really-- despite doing terribly in the 3 debates, he hasn't lost his base. They are locked in on him. It's a cult.

incapable of ignoring it and would launch a new meme with "No puppet! No puppet! You're the puppet!" that would make him look even more childish and ridiculous.

Jeb!, Rubio, and Cruz made feeble (at best) attempts, but they had to toe the Republican line and were beyond timid. Hillary just said, "fuck you" in so many words.

I suspect that Trump's camp sort of suspected that it might blow up this way, and the "too prepared" buzzphrase was rolled out in a futile effort to sabotage this inevitable result.

A masterful performance by our next President, that's for sure!
