What To Do When Trump Supporters Threaten To Kill
By spocko

(Armed protester, Daniel Parks, outside Jane Dittmars Palmyra campaign office to protest Hillary Clinton.)
The GOP's fool has said horrible things about Hillary being a drug user who needs imprisoned - even stating so in the last debate, encouraging 2nd amendment nuts, and stoking violence at his rallies and stirring his very angry base with talk of a stolen election before the election even comes.
I have said a few times on DU how he reminds me of the Randall Flagg character from Stephen King's great story, "The Stand". And, here they're having their final debate in Sin City, just like the end of King's story. I went on google and found 5000 pages where others have said Trump reminded them of Randall Flagg. So, I'm not the only one.
I could hear the GOP's fool saying the very lines Randall Flagg says in declaring as ruler, 'death by dismemberment', then turning right around and acting proper after such a horrible command, and saying, "those of you with small children are excused". And with all the imagery of a nuclear weapon, the guns Flagg's supporters sport constantly, and their fearful obedience to him, it really struck me at how full of himself Flagg behaves and reminds me of a certain GOP candidate.
I was glued to my TV when this aired back in the 90s. Did anyone else watch this, or read the book? (this is loud if you click to view it, and has scary imagery)

and the movie. Never cared much for the Larry character. Baby Can You dig Your Man? No prizes for him.

Nadine Cross yelled, "do it Harold, do it!" It was gripping and very well done for TV. I read somewhere that it was being remade, but was pushed back for the King, "Revival". So, it will be delayed til at least 18 months.

Not so much a big, fat, orange loudmouth.
More of a Matthew McConnaughey type than a small-fingered, rotting pumpkin.
Been a while since I read the book. I thought Jamie Sheridan did a great job in the ABC miniseries a while back.

I have it on DVD and there are distinct similarities. Trump is reminiscent of Randall Flagg.
