It appears my Google Fu is WEAK tonight...

I need to hammer this crap I just saw on FB with specific counter-examples, and I am having Hell's own time finding any.

Here's the quote: "Obama's negotiation style never varies from "We'll do it my way." He doesn't compromise. He'll offer a sweetener to make you do it his way. But the substance of what he's after is always a demand, unbending.

Unless Obama is also willing to compromise, there is none possible in dealing with him."

Yeah, I know, utter, reality-denying s#!t.

The more documented the counterexamples are, the better.

I don't know where you can find the examples specifically, but the last fiscal cliff negotiations are where you should find Obama bending and Boner holding firm (no pun intended).....there sure were plenty of examples during the ACA negotiations as well - maybe use Wikipedia?

Because if you think that they'll ever agree with you you're sadly mistaken. Why waste your energy on people who will never change their minds no matter how much evidence to the contrary?

Chanel your energy into things you can influence.
