Attorney General Maura Healey refers to former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling as Donald 'TrumpLite'

BOSTON – Hours after former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling said he's going to run against Sen. Elizabeth Warren in 2018, Mass. Attorney General Maura Healey jumped, calling the ex-ace another version of Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Warren "fights for Massachusetts," Healey said in a post on Twitter, the social networking site. "[Schilling] is TrumpLite."

Healey, a Charlestown Democrat who won the attorney general post in the 2014 election, added: "3 words: Bring it on."

Warren, a Cambridge Democrat, won a six-year term in 2012, ousting incumbent Republican Scott Brown. Brown won the seat in a 2010 special election, beating out Democratic nominee Martha Coakley, Healey's former boss.
