2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHas anyone been watching Oliver Stone's "Untold History of the United States" on Showtime?
I haven't seen anything so far that wasn't covered in my freshman college American history class 20 years ago. Any thoughts?

(6,476 posts)He highlights how Russia beat the Nazi war machine in a way that is normally overlooked...at least in my education it was glossed over. I knew the Russian people suffered but I wasn't really aware of all that they did, all that they sacrificed to fight back and win on that huge front. I've heard, watched and listened to much about America and England and their efforts but never very much about Russia. It's probably just me. I've been enjoying it and I'm glad to see anything good that's about history.
