Trump could still pull out of the election

Just thinking creatively here, but the polls are collapsing for him, everywhere. He's losing RW states now as well. He's at war with the party. He's talking about a rigged election.

So what's worse: going on to lose in a landslide, taking the R Party down with you, OR telling your followers that you're out, and that they should just stay home and not legitimize any facet of the election?

Trump could wait until 2 or 3 days before the election, throw his political hand grenade and aver he's bringing down the whole corrupt system. I think a large percentage of his ardent followers would not vote. If he called for people to show up to protest at their voting sites it would give them an action to engage in, rather than sitting home, stewing.

If he pulls out, he'll lose 1/3 of his new media empire's "audience". In my opinion.

run people down. It's spiritually flattening.

Public service is an opportunity to lift others. In this case, millions of others. Trump is completely negative. He manipulates his crowds, he distorts facts, he sets out to divide us.

I'd love to have a sense of what he will do or say next, but I don't think there's any way we can know.

...the ultimate act of nihilism...Samson, pulling down the temple around his--and everyone else's--ears. Especially if he can pull down the GOP, which of course he hates viscerally far more than he does the Dems. Anything can happen between now and next Jan 20...

You're correct that he will blame the loss on a rigged election. He's spending a whole lot of time now laying the foundation for that story. I just can't wait until this damn campaign is OVER! I'm getting disgusted listening to clips of The Con's blabbering. I deliberately stay away from having to watch or listen to his streamed speeches, but it's impossible to listen to any political coverage without them running some snippet.

8. I predicted he'd pull out and I still think it's a real possibility.

If he knows he's going to lose big he won't want to suffer the defeat.
Staying in means he'll have to give a concession speech which he will never do and legitimately be called a loser.
If he never finishes then he can't be a "loser".(In his mind)

He will come up with some bizarre reason that he is being forced out by someone and he isn't personally responsible.
He'll direct his minions toward this other entity and away from himself. He'll probably even say he's doing it to be generous or to protect someone else.

It may happen just a few days before the election but I still predict it will happen.

Or, if he loses, the entire thing was rigged in the first place.

No one, but no one, runs for President without an ego the size of the orbit of Jupiter.

Suggesting he'll pull out of the election is right up there with the suggestion that he only got into the race in the first place to insure that Hillary would win. Nope.

I'm just hoping he'll lose by such massive numbers that even his most devoted followers will finally understand what a complete and total loser he is.
