LA Times poll is not a scientific poll because they poll the same people every night and Nate silver corrects the poll every time it's released on his 538 blog.

It IS a scientific poll, but it is a poll that has made some unusual modelling decisions. One reason the MOE is so large is because of the very small slices they make demographically. I think it extremely likely to be wrong, and I think there's lots of evidence to back that up, but I usually think it's bad idea to throw data out.
