makes flipping the House a possibility.
We've seen reports of some die-hard Trump supporters maybe 10% or so saying they'll vote for him but not down-ballot Republicans, to get back at the establishment. A similar portion of traditional Republicans say they'll do the opposite. The net effect is to diminish R votes up and down by about 10%, which might account for these polls we're seeing. Factor in that nobody wants to wait in line for a loser, and I think we will see strong gains in the House, maybe enough to change control.
