McCain's November reply:

Wow.
(In all fairness, this doesn't include the interviewer's comments....and I don't know that I would be any more eloquent in reply, but then again I would never be a jerk wad like McCain and so will never be in this situation):

"I'm not…no more comment…I have no comments about my schedule and I'm not going to comment on how I spend my time to the media."
"I will not…have no further comments."
"I have no further comment."
"I have no further comment."
"I have no further comment."
"How many times do I have to comment?"
"Why can't I?…because I have the right as a senator I have no comment."
"…and who the hell are you to tell me where I can or not?"
…gibberish…
"That's fine and I'm a…and I'm a giving you an answer."
"For the tenth time—get away from me. Please. Please. I have no comment."
…gibberish

"I have no comment, and I'm angry because you can see…"
"Why should I not—why ca…why can't I not have a comment?"
"I a..I a uh…Sir, I have no comment about it. I have no comment."
"I'm not upset…I…I'm upset if you keep badgering me….I want you to badge…ba ba…I want you to stop badgering me…on the record..."
"Yes you were badgering me."
"Yeah a wa I'll start…I'll start recording, okay? Along with you, okay?"
"Record this….just as you will—and then we'll let the people decide whether you are badgering me or not."
"Okay?"
…gibberish…
"I said that I had no comment and I'm giving you an answer, that is that I have no comment."
…."ya n a…like your job, it's my job to give you an answer, sir…and I gave you an answer: that I have no comment. And that is my right to do. For you to continue to ask me the same question over and over again, is not appropriate behavior."
"Okay?"
"Thank you."
