Just shaking my damn head...

Recent conversations and FB posts among some family, friends and former colleagues (all of them have one thing in common: fundamental or evangelical christians) leads me to the conclusion that people who are defending trump and supporting him still can distill their reasons down to two factors:

1) Abortion
2) Abject hatred of the Clintons

Re: #1, if I bring up Trump's sexual perversion it's wholly dismissed. If I bring up Hillary is pro-choice, not pro-abortion and that supporting policies that minimize the situations that could lead to an abortion, it is wholly dismissed without any kid of reasoning other than "it doesn't matter. Life is sacred". Despite the fact that conservatives don't give two shits about life once it's started.

Re: #2, posting article after article showing solid and clear debunking of the "scandals", accusers not credible, and how Ken Starr and Trey Gowdy both ended up clearing the Clintons and yet also having ethical problems, themselves, as part of their own investigations, ends up in the same general dismissal that Bill is a pervert and patriotic American.com (or whatever right wing conspiracy site) is a solid news org.

20 years since college, all around USA, men and women...Indian Americans - all professional, pretty upper class/wealthy, on the higher range of taxes.

All those f**ing Floridans and Texans thinking Trump is better because
(a) Hillary is a liar
(b) I do not like the tax plan

and ofcourse, unspoken or silent is probably that she is a woman. They won't say that aloud.

Some don't care.

Some think she is boring, Justin Trudeau is better.
Whatever. It does not matter. I'l go back to the whatsapp group on Nov 8th and rub it on their faces.

Those are the two items for my right-wing family members. Always abortion. And for the last X years, you add Hillary. Without Hillary, it would still be abortion that keeps the Republican party going.

I heard the interview last night. He was asked about her pregnancy in an interview and he said Marla was happy and excited and he was like, "Well what are we going to do about this?"

Jesus would NEVER vote Trump.

Who Would Jesus Grope?

And would Jesus mock the disabled? Would he support casinos and walking in on naked girls? Would he insult people based on their looks?

Again. Questions I've asked and they fall on deaf ears. Always goes to Bill is a rapist and Hillary let them die in Benghazi (despite Trey Gowdy's own words when he said they couldn't have gotten there in time)

They do NOT support any programs that benefit and protect infants and children, mothers, families, or anything that would improve their lives or give them opportunities for a better future. Its all fetuses because that cause doesn't cost them anything but lip service, and that's worthless.

In contrast, people were highly motivated to vote for George W. Bush. They thought he was a godly man who had sinned but repented. They liked him.

I question how motivated "Trump supporters" will be to go to the polls, if their choice is based on "not Hillary" rather than "for Trump."

Democrats need to get out the vote. Republicans are demoralized. We can win big this election - even take back Congress - if we GOTV.

I do like the ads I've seen the Clinton campaign running here in FL. All positived, esp. the one w/her and the children. And the PAC ads have been the ones attacking the CONald with his own words.

On the road today, just inland from Port Canaveral, saw an older woman in an old Tercel with a "Hillary - Prison" sticker. smdh

Such one dimensional thinking

do they fully support free prenatal care for all pregnant women? How about free child-care so that the mothers can more easily return to work? How about making sure that dead-beat dads are made to support the babies they made?

Part of what enrages me so much about the anti-abortion folks is that they seem to think there is never a man involved, that the women all get pregnant by some sort of immaculate conception.

I honestly cannot believe that was used as a defense of Trump in saying he wasn't mocking the reporter. Just dumbfounded.

It was so obvious that Trump was mocking the supporter's disability, that the article claiming otherwise is appalling.
