Here's a reason more women have not come forward

That Non-Disclosure Agreement that all Trump people must sign which I think that showed up here a month or so ago. I wonder if that NDA covers sexual assault not being reported? Between that and his threats of lawsuits, no wonder people don't report what really goes on there.

1. Generally speaking NDA's become unenforceable if they involve keeping criminal activity secret. nt

8. Yup, and I think that knowledge is a big reason why people are coming forward.

On edit: Except none of these women ever worked with or for Donald. I hope those with NDAs recognize they can speak out about assault.

that women who have been groped and more were approached by a Trump pimp with an open checkbook and an NDA, at least in recent years. I cannot imagine that this behavior which seems so "natural" to him abruptly stopped ten years ago.

or blatantly illegal.

Having said that, if it contained that unenforceable clause and someone didn't know the law .... it might discourage someone from coming forward ... as would his threats.

4. Are such NDA's really enforcable? We're talking about criminal acts, not trade secrets.

Surely, a private agreement between two private parties, neither of which is governmental, cannot prohibit the reporting of criminal activity.

It's a warning to them that if they disclose Trump's sexual assaults they will have to spend a lot of money lawyering up. Many probably do not have that luxury.

When you go after a powerful, rich celebrity, people have to care first and be willing to acknowledge the possibility.

Now that the public sees him for what he is - by his own words - and we know him to be a liar - women, and men who know, will be coming forward.

Not everyone can deal with the immediate attention that accusing a Presidential Candidate of sexual assault will bring.

Disgusting threats about disgusting lawsuits. THOSE should be headlines. This is his current lawyer.

"I will make sure that you and I meet one day while we're in the courthouse. And I will take you for every penny you still don't have. And I will come after your Daily Beast and everybody else that you possibly know," Cohen said. "So I'm warning you, tread very fucking lightly, because what I'm going to do to you is going to be fucking disgusting. You understand me?"

Threats to a reporter. I remember there being a recording of even more. They destroy people any way they can.
