I start feeling uncomfortable talking about Trump sexual misconduct.

Ok,

I start feeling talking about Trump's sexual misconduct all the time.
It is exactly same as what Republican did during Bill's scandal.

Can we focus more on his other huge issues as well?

I may be minority. I just cannot wait we will have woman president within less than a month.

It is quite telling that Trump cannot attack Hilary's sexual misconduct because there is none.

This is just so telling.

Just my opinion.

2. There's no record of Bill confessing to the allegations made against him.

Except with Monica, which was 100% consensual.

That's the key distinction as I see it.

It is not exactly same as what Republicans did, not even close. Then, a witch hunt over a failed land deal led a self-righteous prig of a special prosecutor to misuse his authority to expand the investigation to include everything, which led him to Lewinsky.

Now, a presidential candidate lies continuously about assaulting and harassing women when the evidence is easily available. It wouldn't make sense for the media to not cover it.

Plus, this meltdown of a candidate is historic.

Should other issues be discussed as well? Sure. But the trainwreck will, of course, get the bulk of the attention.

7. I'm annoyed with "More Important Issues"

or this is a distraction etc. There is nothing more bigger or important than this. If he has assaulted girls without consent, this is a felony.

With Bill clinton, all the big scandals were about his perjury or relationship with Monica. If there is truth in assault, then that is a big deal too as news (at that time since he is no longer running for president).

I am enjoying seeing the implosion.
Of course the issue of sexual assault on women is immensely important.
at the same time, I kinda wish his come-down had been bec. of his racist comments about Muslims --
I'm not going to judge which issue is "more important", but I think the sex assault issue became his come-down bec it is titillating.

I have no idea why any Democrat would wish to change the subject...sure Trump wants to.

I feel uncomfortable that you wish to ignore an aspect of a presidential candidate that would only serve to re-enforce this deplorable behavior.

12. I've been feeling the same thing

First, let me qualify: sexual assault is a real and all too often under-discussed issue. So I am glad that we are bring this subject into the light of day. I am a woman, and these issues are important to me, as are many other issues related to women's status in our culture and society: equal pay; representation in all areas of endeavor, from board rooms to science labs; family leave; etc. etc.

But here's the thing. We knew Donald Trump was a dog since before these elections began: the serial affairs while married, the Playboy lifestyle, the beauty pageant thing, the Howard Stern show. It's been in the public consciousness for 30 years, on the covers of the tabloids. Now we know he lied when he said this was only locker room talk. It's been established. We don't need to keep being obsessed with each and every woman he groped inappropriately (I'm sure there are hundreds and hundreds of them). It's starting to be lurid, and it's lowering the standard of this election even more than it already was, if that is possible.

Why don't we need to obsess over every single woman's story of his misconduct? For two reasons, imo: it's been established, and it's personal. It's about his character, which we already know to be deplorable. This election should be about what Donald Trump is proposing to do to EVERY American: he wants to stop and frisk every "inner city" citizen (read: African Americans and Hispanics), a kind of groping that is threatening to our very communal existence and to our Constitution; he wants to physically remove millions of immigrants and ban Muslims from coming to this country; he wants to wreck our international treaties; I could go on and on.

I want this election to have some integrity in the end, and not just be a bad reality show. We need to be discussing the issues that effect not just individuals Donald Trump has abused, but about the issues that effect every single American, male and female, of every race and ethnicity. We need to be talking about climate change, and national security, and economic justice, and ...

Can we just move on from the freak show?

I am sure Trump and his supporters would love that. Bill Clinton was never accused of the things that Trump has been accused of.

Hmmmm..... But, no. I don't agree. Trump has no plan for the country that isn't batshit crazy, and he needs to own his words and deeds, regardless of the damage to his "brand."
