Given the extreme loss of privacy and anonymity involved with

making accusations that Trump sexually abused specific women, I have no doubt that these women and the ones that are likely to emerge soon are telling the truth.

By making the accusations, these women we've never actually heard of are putting themselves in public view and examination. Who would do that? I have no problem in believing what they say. They have little or nothing to gain and very much to lose.

Most women who could make a statement will not, simply due to the public exposure and inevitable calumny that would be heaped upon them.

Your point that Donald Trump's accusers deserve the benefit of the doubt is exactly right, Mineral Man. In contrast, Mr. Trump's own words deny him that benefit and those words demand that we hear these, and other women's stories of their encounters with him.

The public scrutiny these brave women will face precludes them from fabricating the stories.
