Stop it with Ivanka

Coming from a background of sexual abuse (rape and, no, not my father, but by another male relative - and at the age of 12), it is gross to me for anyone to drag Ivanka down with her dad. Judge her for many reasons, but please stop posting photos of her with her dad and suggesting lap dances, etc.

Ivanka may have suffered the unspeakable, which starts with an "I." Let's leave it at that and leave that out of discussions here.

Or ignore me if you want. But understand that it cheapens our narrative and discussion to rag on a woman who, as a child, was around a man who is on tape saying such remarks about a 10 year old as "I'm going to be dating her in ten years!"

That said, I never participate in those threads and had no luck asking to leave Melania out of our discussions. My reasoning was that something we say might bring her harm. She is living with the beast. I pity her.

I think Ivanka could put distance between herself and her father if she wanted.
