This year we had FOUR STATES: CA, ME, NH, WA w/ 2 female US Senators, next year only '3' CA, NH, WA

... because Olympia Snowe (R) in Maine retired and Angus King won her seat.

It is a good thing that Angus King (Indie) won because he will be caucusing with the Democrats, but we've lost one of our 'two females' states.

So, the only three states in the U.S. Senate will be
California: Dianne Feinstein (D) and Barbara Boxer (D)
New Hampshire: Jeanne Shaheen (D) and Kelly Ayotte (R)
Washington: Patty Murray (D) and Maria Cantwell (D)

Edited to add...

Regarding The House

Hawaii has total of two U.S. House Representatives, next year both will be female: Colleen Hanabusa (D) and Tulsi Gabbard (D)
New Hampshire has a total of two U.S. House Representatives, next year both will be female: Carol Shea-Porter (D) and Ann McLane Kuster (D)
And South Dakota and Wyoming both have a total of 'one' at large representative: Kristi Noem (R-SD) and Cynthia Lummis (R-WY)

Kelly Ayotte (R - NH) and Jeanne Shaheen (D - NH).

They are the only state with all women as executives (the governor is also a woman).

women's issues.

A significant number of GOP female politicians are little more than the equivalent of Stepford Wives and have the same stances as their male counterparts regarding women's reproductive rights and issues.

I will support a male candidate that is more respective to women's rights than a female one that wants to go back 100 years.

Over the past few years I've seen many times when Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, and even surprisingly Lisa Murkowski voted with the Dems in the Senate on bills regarding women. Kay Bailey Hutchison not so much.
