President Obama to host 'Lincoln' cast

Obama to host 'Lincoln' cast

After spending the day touring damage from Hurricane Sandy in New York on Thursday, the president will head back to Washington for a little entertainment.

He is set to host members of the cast and crew of "Lincoln" for a special screening of the movie at the White House.

But I'm glad it's President Obama.

Also, you can't beat that pedigree -- a film with a script from Tony Kushner, based to some degree on a book by Doris Kearns Goodwin, directed by Steven Spielberg and featuring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Tommy Lee Jones, David Strathairn, Hal Holbrook, and others.

Saw that "empty chair" speech when he won at Bafta - sounded like he'd never met the Prez. He's going to love it. Hope we see some footage of it!
