The VP debate won't change anything, ratings were very low, lower than 2012.

http://money.cnn.com/2016/10/05/media/vice-presidential-debate-ratings/index.html

Tuesday night's vice presidential debate drew a smaller audience than the VP debates in 2012 and 2008, according to overnight Nielsen ratings.
Viewership figures will be available later in the day on Wednesday. Total viewership is likely to be somewhere in the 40 and 50 million viewer range.
We already know, though, that the Mike Pence-Tim Kaine debate was seen in roughly half the number of homes that tuned into the Donald Trump-Hillary Clinton debate on September 26.
ABC, which had an 8.6 household rating for the presidential debate in Nielsen's "metered markets," had a 4.5 household rating for the vice presidential debate. NBC had an 11.1 rating last time and a 4.9 rating this time.

... Kaine's atypical style. And when the media reports on Pence's style, they also have to report on the content. Pence's lies and Kaine's (true) charges. I think that's why the HRC campaign planned it that way. Without the surprise they'd have missed opportunities to repeat their message.

are really into politics watched and cared, but I don't get the impression that it had much of an impact either way. Personally I think that's good for Hillary. I doubt Pence has done anything that will move the needle for Trump and Kaine didn't hurt her.

You don't have to be a political junky to read those. Obviously they would have reported on the debate, but they were more interesting than they would have been if Pence and Kaine had been their polite modulated selves.

So 40+ million less people watched the vp debate and the only scientific poll so far shows
Pence won it by only 6 points according to cnn. And on style not honesty. This dipshit didn't win anything
last night. If anything he hurt Trump even more by not defending him.
