Lawrence O'Donnell makes a good point...

there are numerous places where clips can be pulled from the debate and used in Clinton ads, mostly the places where Pence denies something there is vid evidence for.

He also said that there were no such possibilities from Kaine.

Long term, win Kaine.

Look, it's a VP debate. No one cares about those really, not even me and I'm a Wonk. I watch them because I'm way more into politics than most people. I'm not mainstream at all.

Point and laugh later, there's a reason I'm saying this. Other than a day of minor Pence won silliness,we're going to get more mileage out of this post factcheck.

I won't lie and say I was personally impressed by Pence, but is delivery isn't my style. He was too calibrated and his rhythm was too manufactured for me.

He did fine for the RNC tonight, but he didn't win any undecided votes or sway anyone else. He was pure boring partisan milquetoast.

Just my gut opinion.

leaving little room for calling him out. He kept talking when Kaine responded to try to crowd him out. And, of course, leaving little room for the audience to consider what lies so many statements were.

I can see Hillary asking dipshit about the russian/syria differences between him and pence. You know anytime someone especially someone who is supposed to be working for him disagrees. He seems to go over the edge. If she plays it right. Saying something like "Mike Pence your running mate disagrees with you views of the Syria conflict and Russia." Or " Mike Pence lied about you saying xxxx." And maybe could leave it there and see if he starts trying to figure out what or some kind of excuse. It could bring up something he thinks is the worst thing. There are other things that turned up along the line O'Donnell brought up which will be good ads.

but in the town hall format, it may be harder to bring up. But there are several points where Pence went quite a ways off the reservation compared to what Trump has said.

I kept noticing how many damn times Mike Pence sat there and shook his head "no, no, no", visually denying what Kaine was saying. Kaine was repeatedly right on the facts. Pence was claiming otherwise. And all you have to do is go to the video. There's plenty of proof available out there. Several people offering post-debate commentary pointed that out - one of them saying that too many of these Trump quotes Tim Kaine was bringing up are so burned in by now - so obvious and well-established that everybody knew they were true, no matter how many times Pence denied them or shook his head in disagreement.

Early into the debate Ezra tweeted:

Ezra Klein? @ezraklein
It sort of works in the debate, but Pence shaking head, saying "no he hasn't" is going to look bad in ads next to Trump saying those things

I found watching the Twitter feeds more enjoyable than tv.

Facts. Comes across with a plan and knows specifics. Had Pence covered on every subject, so much so, he was dropping zingers.

I actually felt sorry for Pence. He looked uncomfortable and was having difficulty spewing out his rehearsed lines.

Clinton-Kaine are 2 - 0.

he's good for the fundie base Republicans, but I don't think the majority of Americans will want to see him in power, I hope.

They missed the LGBTQ issues completely in the debate, but there is plenty of copy out there, I'm sure, that evidences his attacks on gays and transgender people.

However, Mike Pence is not running for President. Besides, I can nearly guarantee the subject will come up on Sunday and Trump will have to answer. I know his record, the citizens of the Hoosier state know his record. And Mike Pence is playing from the Sarah Palin playbook, get out of a losing situation at home, lose the VP race, then become a grifter for the next 3 years before 2020.
