"where did you find this? where did you find this? where did you find this?"

to me this was (one of many) very telling quotes from the debate.

hillary was bringing up the miss universe story, showing trump's penchant for insulting people -- in this case, all in one story, we get insult against women, hispanics, the overweight, and people who work for him one way or another.

trump had to interrupt. more disrespect.

but not to challenge the story and not to defend himself.

no -- he wanted to know where hillary found this story.

because while donnie has nothing but contempt for the study of policy -- you know, something that matters to all americans -- donnie does obsess over press clippings a and stories mentioning his name.

that's what rattled his cage. not that he was getting confronted with his bad treatment of other people. that's not a shocker to him or even his supporters.

no, what rattled him was that he knew that story wasn't out there in the media, and how the hell did they find it.

and that also explains the follow-up attacks on alicia merchado -- he had only just found out she was, in his mind, a rat who had gone over to give her story and support to hillary. after, i'm sure he thinks, all the wonderful things he did for her.

this guy is really quite a piece of work. the first thing that comes to his mind is, basically, who's the rat?

Yes, that is

But it is probably what Trump thinks.

Trump is a bizarre creature, so it's hard to know what's happening in his orange head sometimes.

5. non-disclosure agreements can be efffectively bought out.

if someone has signed a non-disclosure agreement with donnie, someone like cuban could agree to cover the costs should they decide to tell their story and then donnie sues.

in alicia merchado's case that may not be an issue because whatever agreement she has would have been with the miss universe business, which trump no longer owns.

Donald loves to sue people, so my first impression was that he would try that angle.

I also wonder if he yet understands that it's far harder for politicians to successfully sue people for character attacks? I bet not!

So she never signed an NDA and is free to speak her mind. I would think that others who DID sign an NDA could still speak their minds if they thought now that Trump was doing something illegal.

Guess he needs his ghost writer to tweet him the details.

"Where did you find this?" "From you, you dope!"

Didn't someone maybe Clinton herself make reference to Machado during the Democratic convention? Maybe I am losing my mind but I'm certain that I heard that story before the debate. And if that's the case then how could it be such a shock to dumbass Trump a month and a half later?

8. Trump also knows how much $ he's paid over the years to keep this story out of the press.

It must gall him to be the one getting taken for $ when it's usually him doing the taking.

9. somewhere there's a little black book of all his payments for silence and bribes

i'd bet a hefty part of his spending goes to pay people into silence, bribe public officials, etc.

and after the dust settles, i'd be he finds another raft of lawsuits hit his desk.

This is great, 'eh? I saw that, that night, and I KNEW. That was such an unbelievably stunning "tell." Let's remember - he said, three times (as he does enjoy doing - it's a device, a ploy: repeating things three times to make sure they sink in) "where did you get that?"

I LOVED that.

most people (guilty or not) usually proclaim their innocence with statements like, "I didn't do that" or "it wasn't me." The truly guilty ask, "who told you that" or "how do you know?"
