And Pence is a well known GOP theocrat Dominionist.

That's the problem with religion is that everybody has their own ideas which often conflict with everybody else's ideas. And the really huge problem is that the crazier the belief, the more the GOP embraces it.

Sane folks, like Tim Kaine, are not even in the same galaxy as the GOP as far as religion is concerned.

As I posted, if religion comes up in the VEEP debate, Kaine will tear Pence to pieces.

He claims that condoms are too modern, so he has that going for him with the old Poperoony. And then there's his support for anti-LBGT legislation, which might also align him with Pope Frankie.

But I don't think that da Pope is a Dominionist, and I know that he supports some science which Pence absolutely opposes, like all of biology and climate science.

In Indiana, all these things are apparently a plus for Pence. So regardless of Popes and Catholicism, he has that going for him.

Not sure how that plays out on the national stage of a VEEP debate.

I guess we'll see. My money is on the candidate who is not a theocratic dominionist.
