They are charged with protecting the nominees and will no doubt take a bullet for them. It is good to know that there are still some people who take the duty and oaths to heart.

What tRump did was presumably legal unless it was reversed wholly or partially after audit.

The scandal is that tRump lobbies for that kind of thing as do so many 1% and then lies, saying he paid taxes, and then lies saying he can't release taxes, and then says he will, and then says he won't.

The scandal is that the tax system is rigged to give hidden subsidies to the rich and the corporations.

There should be no tax breaks for anything besides basic citizen breaks, like interest payments on mortgages on primary residences.

Every other monetary aspect of government policy should be handled by direct payments where the benefit is public and accountable.

where federal protections keep planes from flying into each other. Sure, the write-off was probably legal. What may have been more suspect was how he managed to lose a billion dollars in one year. Even if it was legal, it was intentional. A way to not pay his fair share.

The inequality is the main cause of poverty. And all the horrors that entails.

I do not want to live in a distorted society where a few billionaires dispense charity (tax free deductions for them) to the rest of us.

I don't regard people like drumph as legal owners of wealth they have stolen from others.

There's no indication that he's illegally avoided tax payments. That's part of the problem.

And its possible that he doesnt owe taxes. He may have paid very little legally using the laws that are in place. The solution would be to change the laws
