I don't recall this, and, of course, someone is maintaining he said it *repeatedly*. I thought he said he complied with the law, but can't find anything (and I didn't watch the GOP primary debates all that closely)
Does anyone know off hand?

(7,820 posts)He he interrupted her with "That makes me smart" So I would take that as essentially a confirmation- certainly not a denial.
Editing to add: oops, was referring to the Recent General Election debate, not the primaries.

It sounded to many that he was conceding Hillary's claim.
