Did Don the Con say he paid no taxes in the GOP primary debates?

I don't recall this, and, of course, someone is maintaining he said it *repeatedly*. I thought he said he complied with the law, but can't find anything (and I didn't watch the GOP primary debates all that closely)

Does anyone know off hand?

He he interrupted her with "That makes me smart" So I would take that as essentially a confirmation- certainly not a denial.

Editing to add: oops, was referring to the Recent General Election debate, not the primaries.

He didn't use the conditional, as in "That would make me smart."

It sounded to many that he was conceding Hillary's claim.
