Tax Return Brings Up HUGE Questions re: Trump Directing Income to his Charity

"Trump often instructs business partners to direct money they owe him to his tax-exempt foundation instead. It appears that the mogul used this scheme to avoid paying taxes on portions of his income..."

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/09/trump-directed-millions-in-fees-to-his-tax-exempt-charity.html
Trump Directed $2.3 Million in Personal Fees to His Tax-Exempt Charity

How would the extra income have affected his federal income taxes, and how would it have affected the billion dollar write off from the '95 tax return he's been milking for 18 years?

Also, he started the Trump Foundation in '88. Has anyone seen those tax returns? Did he start the "charity" just so he could direct income to it and avoid/lower his income taxes?

Has be been benefiting from massive losses from his massive failures (using OPM) all of these years?

I find it remarkable that none of the Republicans did any research on Donald Trump during their primaries. Neither did the media.

Now, the media is trying to play catch-up with only a month until the election.

Ah, well. All that matters is that Donald Trump is soundly defeated on November 8th.

4. I was surprised by how many media people have resorted to calling Trump a liar this weekend.

They are calling out his lies, and stopping his surrogates in their tracks when they are trying to ram their talking points down the show hosts throats. I said to myself. Well lot at that, it seems like everyone in media suddenly grew a spine overnight. They were cutting Trumps folks off this morning and not letting them just go on and on and they were specifically calling Trumps lies, LIES.

And long overdue. I cant watch the news shows...makes my rickety health issues much worse. I even have to read transcripts before I can watch replays. As long as they are finally calling the lies out, I'm happy!

6. When 15 years ended where he could offset loss, he avoided tax by funneling payments to Foundation

For instance the $400,000 Comedy Central payment was in 2011 and the $500,000 NBC payment was in 2013 that went to the Foundation rather than to him personally. He wouldn't have been able to apply his 1995 loss anymore so he was seeking to avoid taxes by directing payments to the Foundation rather than directly to him.

using the Freedom on Information Law (FOIL) process, so it says. The 2001 does show carryover funds dating back to 1996.

1996 - 58,399
1997 - 80,110
1998 - 214,406
1999 - 160,119
2000 - 169,776

So he was not depleting his account as he does pretty much now.]
