Faux News Viewers/Rush Limbaugh dittoheads have only themselves to blame

I am getting weary of conservative commentators (Frum, Scarborough, Luntz) blaming the conservative "entertainment"" wing for the utter shock of republicans over Romney's devastating defeat. Yes, all of those folks on the right kept telling them Romney was going to win and cherry picking polls for them. Yes if that is the only information you had access to you would be flummoxed, or "dumbfounded" by the result. BUT. They didn't have to live in that bubble. They chose to live there. All of them could have done a quick search online (or read a newspaper) to see if what they were being told was true. How many of us actually forced ourselves to peek at Fox News, or watch Morning Joe just to see what the other side had to say? How many millions of times did I run a google search looking for sound evidence that Romney might be leading, despite the wisdom of 538 and all those other sites? I searched tirelessly for disconfirming information, for the bad news I might not be finding in my own bubble. Why didn't they? If you choose to listen only to what makes you feel good, only to what you want to hear, you have only yourself to blame when reality bites you in the ass. I have no sympathy for people who stridently, proudly, and pugnaciously avoided reality.

I'm blown away by how many issues she's either clueless about or has some distorted opinion that sounds like something from the "Weekly World News" supermarket tabloid (BatBoy, Two-headed baby, Space alien advising current president, etc.) or could be mistaken for an article from "The Onion". It's mind-boggling.

I also read Drudge once a day.

I do it so I will know what the talking points will be at the office. And it has allowed me to body slam my co-workers so badly and repeatedly that they rarely bring me an argument anymore. They think I'm some kind of Zen master liberal debater, when in reality I'm just a dumbass that has a headstart on them. They're so predictable and so.. lame.

They didn't just think Romney was going to win, they KNEW it. They screwed with me mercilessly for months. I would just sip my coffee and say in a monotone voice "sounds like you've got it in the bag." The last 7 days have been pure bliss, heaven on earth.
