Post-debate poll: Clinton up 7 on Trump in Michigan

Hillary Clinton has pulled 7 percentage points ahead of Donald Trump in Michigan in the first statewide polls conducted after Monday night's presidential debate.

The Detroit News-WDIV-TV poll released late Thursday shows the Democratic nominee leading Trump by seven points in both a head-to-head matchup as well as a four-way contest between the two major party candidates and Libertarian Party nominee Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein. The latter results show Clinton leading the field with 42 percent support to Trump's 35 percent, while Johnson and Stein lag behind with 9 percent and 3 percent support, respectively. Nine percent of participants remained undecided when faced with those four candidates. - Politico
