Here the problem with taking the House in 2014: gerrymandering

Texas may be the best at it. Out of 36 House races, only 6 were decided with the winner getting less than 60% of the vote. Only one was actually close (less than 55% for the winner). But, they had 13 races where the winner received 70% or more. In two races, the winner had 90% or more! And one race didn't even have an opponent. How do you "swing" a seat that is so stacked for one party?

1. This is why we need an Amendment against this.

Our work isn't even close to being done if we want to continue to move forward rather than surrendering our country to religiously fanatic tribalists. Voter Reform is my goal for the next 2-4 years.

2. need a justice flip

The supreme court flipping a justice and taking up the gerrymander case if not it will take years.

3. No kidding. Take a look at David Price's new district

in NC. The 4th district used to be a sensible chunk of a few counties. Look at it now. I'm now out of this district by about 50 yards and am in Howard Coble's (R) district. But when I try to email him via his web page, I am told that my address is not valid in his district. I wish.
