Next up: Overcompensation Trump

Okay, here's the deal. He will be better prepped for birther stuff and tax returns next time. (Not much better, but marginally. At the least, he will be expecting it)

However, he'll also be better prepared with some rehearsed, ugly barbs of his own to throw out. So the game plan has to change some.

So you change up what you tweak him with next time. What's something unexpected? Hit him at the next debate with barbs focused on the first debate.

Stuff like:

- Glad I wasn't the only one up here for the debate

- We had a lot of fun last time, so glad you could make it.

- And I can hear you loud and clear, Donald. No problems on that mic.

Should be enough to knock him off again. At that point, as we all can see, it's all downhill. Plus, if he loses it at a townhall, you have the crowd up close and personal to react.

...the next debate is a Voter Town Hall; any comments have to be given in the context of questions real people ask.

response. Trust me, with his personality, he'll notice. And it will piss him off. I have a similar personality, and if I suspect that someone is mocking me, it's extremely difficult for me to keep calm. (Hence, why I know better than to ever seek public office)

or condescending towards voters. If I was one of those town hall people I'd subtly bait him.

4. I don't think he will be better prepared.

Everyone seems to think this is a normal person we're talking about. Let me tell you as someone who has known narcissists and sociopaths: this is not a normal person. If he were normal, he would have arrived prepared for last night's debate. He is incapable of humility, which is essential for preparing for something like a debate. If he shows up at all, he will be as unprepared as he was last night. He will try to maintain his self control, as he did for the first few minutes of the first debate, but Hillary will be able to coax him out of that thin veneer of self-control just as easily next time as she did last night.

6. Yes but I think he will be superficially ready for two things:

1) Birther

2) Tax Returns.

That's why you mock him for the Mic, for actually having the guts to show up for the second debate, and whatever else to tweak him about his 1st debate performance. Can't be too over the top, but he'll notice even subtle mockery of himself.

that she didn't mention in the first debate. He won't know what she's going to bring up and he won't be prepared. And he'll spend the rest of the debate being overly defensive about them.

7. Right. He really thinks he won and was the bestest debater EVER.

In his mind, his strategy worked perfectly. Therefore, why would he change it?

Trump knew he lost and lost badly, he was beaten down by the end of the debate and it was written across his face as he walked across the stage after. It was the biggest humiliation of his life. And he was seen chewing out family members afterwards. He's simply trying to spin this. He got schooled and made a fool out of himself.

14. He doesn't think it was his fault that he lost, though.

Narcissists always blame others when things go wrong. Improvement is impossible because they will not accept that they did anything wrong. I expect him to continue to complain about the media and fire several staff members, but one thing he will not do is prepare for the next debate.

ETA: NYC Liberal was right. Trump actually thinks he won the debate. See:
