2016 Postmortem

Whatta freakin' train wreck.
1). Don is a racist (but we knew that)
2). Don started his business with his daddy's money and connections (but we knew that)
3). Don, without a shred of remorse, screwed over countless workers, admitted it, and said "you should too" (but we knew that)
4). Don has 100% freedom to release his tax returns, audit or not, which allowed Clinton to deliver a Muhammad Ali knockout punch of "WHAT ARE YOU HIDING" (but we knew that)
And the AMAZING thing was that NONE of this needed to happen. Clinton came prepared, kept her cool, and he basically pleaded for her to take him down.
And that doesn't even take the "sniffles" into account. What the hell was that?
Plus, Clinton didn't put everything on the table, like Don boasting about how he had the tallest building in New York after the Twin Towers fell, or how he bought himself a Tim Tebow helmet and two garish portraits with "charity" funds, or...
...she pretty much took a high-level view and scratched the surface of what makes this guy a parasite and scumbag.
But we knew that.
And he asked for it. No, he begged for it.
Well played, Ms. Bond.
There was one moment...and I do not have the exact quote...where he made a sarcastic comment about her "resting up" or taking time off leading up to the debate, and she got that gleam in her eye and said something like "Oh...I PREPARED." And she certainly did.

Out of ammo Donny. You can't go back and relitigate at
the next debate without looking even more foolish
(Doesnt mean he won't).
Hillary boxed Trump like a true champion.
She let Trump burn up all his fuel and
queued up her big shots (with amateur
Donald's assistance). It was a beautiful
win to behold.

(18,837 posts)Donald Trump accused NBC News Lester Holt of favoring Hillary Clinton in Monday nights presidential debate.
Steve Doocy, a co-host of Fox News Fox and Friends, asked Trump in a phone interview on Tuesday morning whether the GOP nominee thought Holt leaned a little bit over into the left lane to compensate for criticism that Holts colleague Matt Lauer endured for his moderation of NBCs Commander-in-Chief Forum earlier this month.
Yeah totally. More than a little, Trump responded. He leaned over to that lane.
Later, asked to grade Holts performance, Trump gave him a C or C+.
