3. The 2008 debate

between Obama and McCain. That was my senior year in high school as I took an American Government class, and was one of the main things that made my interest in politics grow. It's insane to see how the GOP has gone from McCain to Trump in just 8 years.

I was in middle school, the only political issue I cared about at the time was video game violence, and all it took was seeing Gore's professional demeanor vs. the brainless chimp to know which party I would support from then on
