Taxpayers somehow not ballistic over $3 million so Trump can whiz into a gold toilet at 30,000 feet.

Read an article today about Romney's austerity measures in this area earlier today.

Then we have Trump, who won't fly unless it's in his plane, with the gold plated bathroom, and a chunk of that $3 million goes right back into his pocket, because it's his plane.

There's a reason why the taxpayers who are funding this haven't gone ballistic. Damned if I know that reason.

2. Secret service also pays to fly on Hilary plane

The owner of the plane is not required to fly secret service or anyone else for free. So the U.S. govt pays them for transporting its employees, the secret service. Trump owns the company which operates his plane so they get the money. Apparently a third party owns the Hilaty plane so the secret service pays them a similar amount. Taxpayers pay similar amounts per flight for both candidates. This may be why this story draws little attention.

Because Trump insists on flying a plane which holds way fewer passengers the SS takes up way more of his plane than it does of her plane so they pay more to fly in his plane than in hers since they pay in proportion to the amount of the plane they take up. Her total for protection dates from the beginning of the campaign since she has it as a first lady while his dates from when he requested protection in early 2016.
