Jim Bakker: Special forces soldiers who died in War on Terror are now angels protecting Trump

Donald Trump praying with a group of ministers.

Televangelist Jim Bakker says Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is being protected by a special team of angels.

“God came to me in a dream and told me that Donald Trump, his anointed one, is being guarded by a team of special forces angels,” said Bakker on his TV show. “These are former special forces soldiers who died in the War on Terror. They will protect Trump from every form of satanic attack.”

Can you please explain WTF they are doing with their hands waving in the air? What is that SUPPOSED to accomplish? EVERY time I see fundies on television, that's what they're doing. It looks like they're trying to flag down somebody, or maybe they're trying to take flight?
Anybody?

One other burning question. . . . Who in the F-U-C-* listens to what that scam artist, Jim Bakker, has to say?

His appreciation for all things military seems gleamed from the movies. Of the dead, the words of George C. Scott as Patton probably infuse his belief:

"I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor, dumb bastard die for his country."

For myself, I find little more disgusting than those who attribute beliefs or motives, or worse put words in the mouths of the dead, especially those who died in battle.

For those unfamiliar with Jim Bakker, his fall from prominence began with the revelation he paid hush money from church funds to a woman he raped. Jerry Falwell, no stranger to disgusting assessments, called Bakker a liar, an embezzler, a sexual deviant, and "the greatest scab and cancer on the face of Christianity in 2,000 years of church history."

And it's nice to see the Religious Right pricks like this guy taking advantage of our precious dead soldiers. How repulsive. They used to be living, breathing human beings, you know.

Those special forces guys who died in battle probably weren't very special. I mean he already said that he doesn't believe that anyone caught and placed as a POW wasn't a hero.
