Hillary and the Millennial voters

According to the media, Hillary isn't really reaching the millennial voters. They don't really know her and maybe it's true that she has a harder time connecting to them.

What do you think Hillary needs to do to jazz up the millennials? Does she have someone on her staff who can advise her?

First time and young voters could be very critical for Hillary. She needs to find ways to reach out to them and get them jazzed about voting.

Other than that, not much. They don't understand that elections have consequences.

Maybe she does need to Snapchat

I'm no millennial, but realize it is a large sector. My sense is that if there was a way for Hillary to reach them, actually I think many would be inclined to vote for her. I heard a short piece on NPR yesterday were some millennial's were interviewed. And they just wanted to learn more about Who she is and have them talk honestly and openly with her.

I'm sensing that there could be some room for out reach there…

Demographics when it comes to segmenting them into any meaningful subgroups. They are far from being monolithic and have yet to conform to societal trends.

they're using other social media. I do think (some) millenials care and it's also up to the candidate to help make them care. Bernie sure got a lot of millenials to care.

While I do agree they're an unpredictable bunch, I also think it's very worthwhile to find a way (or a multitude of ways) to reach out to them.

The Bernie or Bust crowd would fly out of their parents' basements and vote for Hillary so fast they'd get whiplash

who flipped to Hillary a while back. He didn't come out to his friends until after the primary was over.. His well thought out reasons were not well received.

He runs with the jam-band music fest crowd due to one of his jobs and recently at a couple of shows Sanders fans would go out of their way to lecture him, express disappointment and anger towards him. He was now a Shill for Hill.

We recently were lucky enough to meet Hillary at a private fundraiser Much to our surprise we also got our picture taken with her. A highlight for me and him but he won't post it on Facebook cuz of the blow-back.

I'm looking forward to hear what happened over the weekend - he had to work a 3-day festival and he posted a cryptic message about voting w/o mentioning Hillary. He thanked his friends for their kind words .... can't wait till he gets home later tonight to see if anything has changed or will they just keep on hating her.
