For many weeks they've been saying how Trumps description of the state of Black America is an appeal to "White suburban women' who don't want to view themselves as racist if they support him. What a bunch of drivel! It was obvious to me that his statements were a big old dog whistle to his racist base. Tim Wise just stated it beautifully...tRumps description on AAs essentially justifies their racism. Trump may be appealing to "White suburban women" but what he is really saying is that because blacks and black culture are so inherently dysfunctional and dangerous racism and fear are completely rational and justified. Glad to see this finally being discussed in this way. Can't believe so many pundits got this s wrong.
