Tom Steyer on Lawrence tonight

I just saw Tom Steyer for the first time tonight on Lawrence "The Last Word" and I was impressed with the plan to help Hillary to victory.

He is personally giving 20M and has an additional 35M that will be used to get out the vote in 8 battle ground states. They have had this planned for a year. They have hired folks and will be visiting many college campuses as well. Sounds like they will also pursue millennials. They will be talking the issues and working the inconsistent voter (I think was the term he used) and explaining to them how Hillary's policies will help them.

Anyone else catch this episode?

Maybe I misread earlier. But wasn't the $20M being donated with a goal of reaching $35M? Or is Guy Whitey Corngood Sep 2016 #5

that the GOP was going to put up more TV ads rather than any kind of GOTV plan.

and they had an additional 35M from other sources. Total was 55Million to get the folks to the polls and outreach to include college campuses. These efforts would be for the 8 battleground states but I have no idea what are considered battleground at this point.
