DCCC poll: Teachout leads Faso by five points in NY-19

Albany Times-Union:

A Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee poll shows Democrat Zephyr Teachout leading Republican John Faso by five points in the 19th Congressional District race.

Teachout leads with 47 percent of the vote to Faso’s 42 percent among likely general election voters, according to a DCCC polling memo released Tuesday.

Further indicative of how close the race is is that the poll shows Democrats and Republicans are split 44-44 in a generic Congressional ballot survey.

The DCCC polled 532 likely general election voters. The margin of error is +/- 4.2 percent.
