Enthusiasm? Why no talk in the media about desertion?

We're constantly hearing that Trump supporters are more-enthusiastic about their candidate than are Hillary supporters (another lazy, convenient lie, BTW).

What we NEVER hear about are the large swaths of well-known Rs who have stated that they are deserting their party this year and supporting Hillary, many of them quite vocally so.

Why is that?

Imagine if Rosalynn Carter came out in support of Trump, the way Laura Bush has come out in support of Hillary. Imagine if Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter made it known that they would not be supporting their Party's candidate this year, the way the entire Bush clan has deserted Trump. Imagine if progressive business leaders like Warren Buffet were out making campaign appearances for Trump, the way Meg Whitman has made appearances for Hillary. Dontcha think the media would be flogging said desertion to death were the person being deserted Hillary, rather than Trump?

Our media absolutely sucks.

5. Accept the FACT that the three major cable news channels want Trump to win.

That is our first step.
I don't mean that they want a horse race. THEY WANT TRUMP TO WIN!
The only way to neutralize this is forHillary to dowhat Trump has done: Foold the news talk shows with surrogates for Hillary .
Watch any daytime cable news shows and count the number of appearances by the surrogates for each candidate. Then add up the number of free minutes Trump gets to broadcast his entire speeches (which consist of 45 minutes of les for every grain of truth to come out of his mouth.)

And we all know for similar reasons they distort information to maintain their wealth. Newspapers on the wane hurts us big time. And a friend pointed out how expensive reading glasses are for the elderly. It hit me reading that it was another reason to be concerned about brainwashing by FNC. The ill-informed elderly dependent on what they can actually make out with their old eyes - provided by a savvy, greedy bunch of king makers hard at work.

12. I am sure this has been discussed to death, but the demise of the Fairness Doctrine in 1987

still makes me deeply, deeply angry.

Sure, things weren't exactly utopia prior to 1987,but at the very LEAST, efforts were made to give lip service to any who opposed that demented, B-movie "actor" and his wife whose primary penchants were furniture, shopping and astrology.
