What is Donald Trump's connection to Vladimir Putin??

For me the most serious problem (of the hundreds) with a Trump presidency is that he may be under Putin's thumb.
What if Russian money is keeping him afloat financially?? What if he's a unwitting "Manchurian Candidate"??
This may seem somewhat far-fetched but ask yourself this: can a raging egomaniac have allegiance to anyone or anything but himself?
It would be easy to forget this question with all the other stuff that's going on but I hope it's not forgotten.
