My best friend wants to volunteer driving voters to the polls in N.C., he has other volunteers too.

Is there any particular infrastructure set up for things like this?

Is there any people in particular he should contact other than the obvious ones of the state and local N.C. Democratic parties and the Clinton campaign?

For years my father used to call the local radio station on Election Day and give out our home phone to offer rides, as well as the local paper. I don't think my mom appreciated it too much!

You will be able to check off one or more types of volunteering you'd like to do. You can then find events and/or you will be contacted.

The names of people who need rides probably won't be gotten until the last weeks of the campaign, when phone bankers will be making a massive round of phone calls to supporters to remind them to vote, make sure they know where their polling places are, etc. They will then be asked what time they plan to vote (so follow up calls can be made to check if they did) and whether they need a ride. There may be earlier lists of ride seekers for early voting--I'm not familiar with that. However, you closest Hillary for America campaign office can provide info.
