Fall of an Empire
Do the American people dislike Hillary so much they are considering the birth of a fascist, bigot, lying and racist candidate for president? The consequences will be the fall of an empire and our democracy! It will be done, piece by piece. Every branch of government will be shut down. All of our Civil Rights and Liberties will die along with all the freedoms this country has fought for. He will take control of our public schools, shut them down in exchange for private, for profit, charter schools, that can only be attended by the wealthy. It will be done under the guise of free choice. Privatize the V.A., Free elections will be passed down to his children, who share his ideology, like North Korea. Our military will be taken over by Trumps fascist army. Unions will be gone and we will return to slavery. Minimum wage will disappear, KKK and White Supremacy will be his government
This is not a personality contest. The bravest souls are our voluntary military who made the ultimate sacrifice and died for our democracy. It is our turn, in their memory, to put on our civilian uniforms and fight and march for our democracy and vote against fascism! Is voting for Fascism the legacy you want to leave to your children? Be afraid, be very afraid!
President Obama will remain in D.C. Hillary will have the support of 2 past presidents and VP Biden. We will be safe!

(68,582 posts)It truly would be a crisis and that is not hyperbole ...just the truth. He is a menace unlike any other Republican president.

(60 posts)Atman, you appear to be over-confident and I am not. Any crazy thing can happen until the election based on the polls. I am appealing to the low-information voter who intend to stay home. All I hear is "I have been a democrat all my life, bla bla bla. I took a small poll and 4 out of 10 are going to stay home and that is alarming. Staying home will affect down-ballot candidates and they don't understand the consequences

(31,464 posts)Yes, non-voters are dangerous, but Stein (and to a lesser extent, Johnson), with not a snowballs chance in hell of winning, will draw votes away from Clinton and help put the orange baboon in office. If that happens, I do believe (hope?) that he will be so disliked and mistrusted, even by Republicans, that he'll have a difficult time destroying America in such short order. He still has court dates and major conflicts of interest which could/should trip up his plans for a dictatorship.
